Sophie sings the Carole King classic here on the shore’s of Cape Cod on June 22…several folks who grew up listening to King and her songs thanked Soph for playing the music. One lady, Eleanor, 71 years young from Falmouth, Massachusetts told us she used to listen to King on her transistor radio in a hallway outside her family’s 3rd floor apartment growing up in Brooklyn. “It was the only spot in our apartment that could get the song…that song changed my life I think,” Eleanor said, who was an art teacher until retiring. She approached Sophie in the middle of this version, stopped short of the guitar case on the deck, bowed and made a praying motion, nodding her head with a smile…
